Girls Incorporated of Alameda County
is an affiliate of the national Girls Incorporated, the nation's
leading voice for girls.
Girls Inc. supports and incorporates girls' ideas, perspectives, and voices throughout program implementation, development, and evaluation. This youth-centered approach engages girls as problem-solvers, promotes their development, and increases their opportunity to form supportive relationships. Guided by our vision of empowered girls and an equitable society, Girls Inc. has created strong partnerships with local community organizations, schools, government, and health and juvenile justice representatives to accomplish its mission. Girls Inc. offers powerful solutions to the most pressing issues facing girls today before those issues become problems. Our programs include:
