Southern Alameda County Sexual Abuse Consortium
The Southern Alameda County Sexual Abuse Consortium (SACSAC) is a consortium of community mental health agencies in Southern Alameda County that provides high-quality, low-cost continuing education for psychologists and marriage and family therapists. As its name implies, SACSAC’s original mission was to provide education on topics related to treating children who had been sexually abused. Over time, SACSAC has widened its focus to provide training on a variety of topics related to treating children and families in a community mental health setting.
