2010 Strong, Smart & Bold Luncheon
Join
us as at our 2010 Strong, Smart, and Bold Luncheon which celebrates the
successes of women of today, while inspiring the women of tomorrow.
The
women we honor are not just changing their own circumstances; they’re
changing the world, working everyday to empower other women and girls
to be strong, smart, and bold.
- Jessica Mendoza, President, Women’s Sports Foundation and Olympic Gold Medalist in Softball, who inspires girls and women to be Strong, physically active and confident.
- Janet Holmgren, President of Mills College, who encourages young women to be Smart and pursue higher education.
- Judge Gail Brewster Bereola, Alameda County Superior Court, who strengthens communities with a Bold commitment to juvenile and restorative justice.
This event raises almost $60,000 for our girls, and we hope to exceed that goal this year as we launch the final stage of Girls Inc.’s annual fundraising campaign. Sponsorship includes a table for 8 guests and the opportunity to publicly honor a strong, smart, and bold woman in your life such as a colleague, friend, sister, mother or partner. Individual tickets are $75. Sponsorship Opportunities start at $600.
