Be A Pal!

Over the years the volunteer team has created a fun,intentional and
engaging way for women to participate in Girls Inc. program without
physically being there! This is a creative opportunity to connect with girls by mail that will fit into anyone's schedule!
The Pen Pals Project is intended to improve literacy skills for girls in 1st-3rd grade. Girls Inc. participants are paired with adult, female role models to exchange 3 letters over a 3 month period. Show a girls how much fun writing can be!
This is a great opportunity for women who work full-time to have a meaningful volunteer opportunity and really make an impact!
- Volunteer commitment is from January- March 2010. You will write a total of 3 letters to your pen pal.
- Please mail letters so that we recieve them by the due date.
- Letters are due on the 3rd Thursday of each month:
- January 21st, February 18th, and March 18th
