During the second two years of the program, Eureka! girls become interns working side-by-side with women mentors in a variety of career fields. School-year services include math tutoring, academic counseling, SAT preparation, college overnights, cultural event field trips, outdoor adventures and more.

Eureka! Internship Program

Eureka! Interns are young women, ages 14-17 years old, from Oakland and San Leandro who have completed the first two years of the Eureka! Program.

For four weeks each summer interns work in the fields of health care, technology, science, media, law, biotechnology, marketing, finance, accounting, business, architecture and other related fields. The internships are designed to provide teen women with hands-on experience in science, math and technology and to expose them to positive role models in those fields.
